We hope you and your family are well.Yesterday, Governor Cuomo made the long-awaited decision concerning the reopening of schools today. As a result of his decision, schools throughout New York are expected to open with hybrid learning plans. Please keep us updated on any information you receive from your child’s school and your family’s plan for September. Many clients have already inquired about how remote or hybrid instruction in September might impact their child’s case. Each and every case must be reviewed under the individuals circumstances of that case. Accordingly, please discuss these issues directly with your attorney.
We are also diligently pursuing matters related to the 2019-2020 school year which have not already settled or gone to hearing and are addressing payment for tuition and services, including the COVID-period.
